Who we are

This website is run by Harley Garrison Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17508784). Our registered office is 742 Great Horton Road, Bradford, BD7 4EE. We are the "controller" of the personal information described here, which means we decide how it is used and are responsible for looking after it.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us.

When you ask for a quote

• Your first and last name
• Your business name (optional)
• Your email address and phone number
• The service you need and any details you give about your requirement

When you apply for a job

• Your full name, email address and phone number
• Where you are based and the position you are applying for
• Your SIA licence details
• Any experience you choose to tell us about

We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health, ethnicity or criminal records) through this website. Please do not include it in free-text boxes. If you call or email us, we keep a record of that conversation in the same way.

How and why we use it

• Quote enquiries — to reply to you, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, set up our service. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
• Job applications — to assess your application, contact you about it and check your SIA licence against the public SIA register. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering an employment contract, and our legitimate interest in recruiting suitable, licensed officers.

We do not sell your information, use it for automated decision-making, or add you to marketing lists from these forms.

Who we share it with

We do not share your information with anyone for their own purposes. We use a small number of trusted service providers who handle it only on our instructions:

• Cloudflare — hosts this website and routes our email
• Resend — delivers form submissions to our inbox
• Google — provides the mailbox where we read and answer your messages

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK–US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. We may also share information where the law requires it, for example with the police or the Security Industry Authority.

How long we keep it

• Quote enquiries that do not lead to a contract — 2 weeks, then deleted.
• Job applications from people we do not hire — 6 months, then deleted.
• If you become a client or join our team, your information moves to our client or staff records and is kept for as long as we need it for that relationship and our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
• ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete
• ask us to delete your information
• object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
• ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This website does not use cookies, and it does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, so there is nothing for you to accept or switch off.

The secure sign-in areas for our officers and clients store a small amount of information in your browser to keep you signed in and to remember your display preference. These are strictly necessary for those areas to work and are never used to track you. If we ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this notice and ask for your consent first.
